HERstory Arts Festival is a platform for emerging artists looking to share HERstories in the form of art, poetry, prose, memoir, essay, playwriting, drama, dance and music.
HERstory aims to give expression to HERstories from a wide range of cultural backgrounds including First Nation, new immigrants and those forgotten in HIStory.

Sivvy Plath’s Birthday Present played to sellout audiences in 2024 Sydney Fringe. The dramatic play of her life revolves around her poem of A Birthday Present and encapsulates her powerful impact on second wave feminism.

Jane Franklin and the Rajah Quilt premiered at Hobart Theatre Royal. It addresses the amazingly enlightened Jane Franklin as the Tasmanian Governor's wife as it follows her distraught journey home in disgrace being removed for petticoat power.
Forgotten- this hugely popular play has had two sell-out audience seasons at the Lennox Riverside. This inspiringly powerful piece follows one of the few female rebellions in History at the Parramatta Female Convict Factory, where the women being starved to death go on strike, then brilliantly break out and dodge bayonets and bullets to reach the town and raise the alarm bringing down the Governor.
The Lost Voice of Anne Bronte- a charming yet astonishingly brave piece follows the life of Anne in the shadows of her more famous sisters to reveal her amazing courage in deliberately attacking the frivolity and romantic Victorian novel to reveal the true plight of women being forced into and live in abusive marriages.
